MG OMD is proud to support #BRiM

As part of our D&I journey, we are committed to providing a fully inclusive workplace, where everyone is able to thrive in a culture of equality, inclusion and fairness.

Increasing Black representation at all levels within our industry is essential for us to provide a service that helps our clients to speak authentically to a diverse audience and customer base.  Moving forward Black representation will ensure that we attract and retain individuals with innovation and the variety of skill sets, perspectives and ideas that we need to remain competitive.

Yesterday marked the launch of a new industry initiative, Black Representation in Marketing (BRiM) which has been created by a combination of brands, agencies, leading members of the Black community and industry diversity, equity and inclusion experts.  The ambition is to bring more Black people into the marketing industry, remove barriers that privilege white people, to enable Black people to thrive in senior positions, while ensuring they are fairly represented in the marketing that we produce.

With the full support of the Advertising Association, BRiM is a cross-industry effort to create long-lasting change when it comes to Black representation in marketing.

At the heart of BRiM is a new framework that companies and individuals in the field of marketing can use to support efforts to improve representation in the industry and the work we produce. You can find the details of the BRiM framework here.
