We have created OmniGOV at MG OMD, a bespoke offering for HMG within MG OMD at our Omnicom Bankside offices. Comprising the OmniGOV team, powered by the Omni platform, a customised operating system housing all our tools, data & knowledge, with a focus on outcome delivery.

Paul Knight

CEO, OmniGOV at MG OMD

Working alongside HMG to position UK Government communications as a leader on the global stage, Paul leads a team of c.150 people servicing a portfolio up to 85 departments with a combined annual spend of c.£250 million. Paul is the driving force behind OmniGOV’s commitment to partnership, practice and performance with the ultimate ambition of improving campaign outcomes. Paul has been with MG OMD for over 25 years and has worked in various roles including COO, Head of Retail and Deputy Head of Broadcast, whilst also representing the agency at the IPA. For the past 2 years Paul has been voted in Campaign’s top 10 media leaders and OmniGOV have been awarded agency team of the year.

Alex Pilcher

Executive Director, Head of Clients, OmniGOV at MG OMD

Alex leads on account management, planning and co-ordination of services for the OmniGOV client team and government planning accounts such as the FCA and HMRC. She has been at MG OMD for almost three and a half years but worked in media for 11. She has experience across a range of different sectors including retail, technology, and automotive working on a number of high profile clients including: Morrisons, Intuit and Mitsubishi.

Adam Skinner

Chief Operations Officer, OmniGOV at MG OMD

Working closely with HM Government to deliver a new world standard in Government communications, Adam plays a key leadership role in a team of over 160 people servicing a portfolio up to 85 departments with a projected annual spend of £250 million. Adam’s role is to help deliver our commitment to transparency, performance, and partnership. His focus is operational efficiency and delivering client outcomes.

Sophia Durrani

Executive Director, Head of Strategic Planning, OmniGOV at MG OMD

Having led the strategy and insight across of breadth of clients including those with complex portfolios, such as BACARDI and General Mills, as well as international megabrands such as H&M and Xbox, Sophia now leads the Strategic Planning for the Government at MG OMD. With a passion for behaviour change best practice, Sophia applies lessons from her PhD in Psychology to encourage UK citizens to donate blood, be aware of financial scammers, and get their COVID vaccines, amongst many other campaigns.

Matthew Taylor

Executive Director, Head of Digital, OmniGOV at MG OMD

Working closely with HM Government to deliver a new world standard in Government communications, Matthew leads the digital team of 50+ digital specialists. Matthew’s role is to deliver on our digital transparency, performance and partnership. His focus is to improve the digital understanding across departments and explore new digital opportunities that get the media working closer to client outcomes. With over 14 years’ digital experience, Matthew joined the agency in 2011 and has worked in various roles and departments within MG OMD including the agencies Head of Digital Planning.

Becky Stormer

Head of Clients and Operations, OmniGOV at MG OMD

As part of the senior leadership team, Becky delivers the high level account management and coordination of services for OmniGOV. Her focus and passion is to coach her team to deliver best in class client servicing across a portfolio of up to 90 departments effectively and efficiently. She has been at MG OMD for over five years, working in media for twelve and a half. Prior to OmniGOV she has experience in range of different sectors including Beauty, Automotive, FMCG, Fashion Retail and Telecoms.

Emma Scoular (Maternity Leave)

Executive Director, Head of Effectiveness

Emma heads up the Effectiveness team across OmniGOV and the wider MG OMD agency, ensuring that media is evaluated correctly, is insightful, and proves to show a demonstrable effect for our clients- ultimately making difference that matters. She is also involved with the development and application of learning from the GCS OmniGOV Benchmark Database. Emma has been at MG OMD for 10 years now, and worked in media for almost 14.

James Jennings

Managing Partner, OMD International

James has more than 25 years experience in a wide range of media planning, buying and client leadership and agency management roles. After 15+ years in local market (UK), James has spent the last 10 years overseeing high performance. teams across European, Global and multi market clients with experience in a wide range of categories. James began his career in media consultancy and evaluation, before moving into planning, buying & client roles with WPP. James has worked at OMD EMEA since 2011.

Lisa Garbett (Maternity Leave)

Head of Biddable - Search, Social & Programmatic, OmniGOV at MG OMD

Lisa joined MG OMD in 2015 and now heads up Search, Social and Programmatic across OmniGOV. With over 11 years of experience in digital media working across a variety of industries including retail, entertainment, travel, luxury, sport and automotive. The last 4 have been working across the public sector on OmniGOV with the primary focus on ensuring digital strategy, planning and activation excellence across 100+ clients on the HM Government Framework. Lisa is an advocate for good mental health, leading the Mental Health Taskforce across MG OMD, with the mission to make sure everyone at MGOMD is mentally healthy, by educating it’s staff, encouraging conversation and promoting empathy.
