Battersea “Rescues to the rescue”

Battersea enlists its own online community to show the role of rescued pets in providing comfort and entertainment for the housebound masses during lockdown.

Set to I’ll Be There by Jess Glynne, the spot shows community members alongside their cats and dogs as they participate in TikTok challenges and the #ClapForOurCarers initiative, with Battersea declaring: “We rescued them, now they’re rescuing us.”

Launched during last week’s Britain’s Got Talent as part of the brand’s “Rescue is our favourite breed” campaign, the work was directed by Jessica Giles and Austin Hamilton through Fuel. Media is handled by Manning Gottlieb.
