  • If the rumours are to be believed, Apple could start enforcing it’s ATT prompt this week to coincide with it’s “Spring Loaded” event taking place today. MG OMD remain on hand to help clients navigate any impact on digital campaigns
  • Anything you can do we can do better – Facebook yesterday announced the roll-out of Clubhouse-style live audio rooms, following Reddit who announced similar features earlier in the day & Twitter who released a similar feature just a few weeks ago
  • Google will push back the launch of its Page Experience algorithm update to mid-June, giving site owners at least another month to prepare. SEJ reports
  • Facebook has released a Privacy Progress Update charting the changes it has made to user privacy and data controls over the past two years, alongside outlining the work it still expects to do
  • Apple look set to allow Parler, the controversial social networking site, to return to it’s App Store. The Verge reports
  • TikTok has launched it’s Business Creative Hub to give insight into creative best practices on the platforms along with tips and inspiration
  • Facebook have launched their updated 2021 Ramadan marketing insights guide exploring how users connect and shop during the season
  • Google have added 37 years’ worth of satellite imagery to it’s Google Earth platform, allowing users to chart the devastating effect of climate change on our planet, the Independent reports
  • Spotify and Facebook are expanding their relationship with a new initiative that will allow users to listen to songs or playlists on Facebook without having to leave the platform. Project Boombox will launch later this year
  • Wired take a look at the spread of social media disinformation and how its been used as a weapon in countries experiencing civil unrest & war along with what can be done to tackle the problem
